This about sums it up

Conversation with DD on phone:

Me: Just wanted you to hear it from us: your brother was arrested last night for disorderly conduct.
Her: Which one?

Yeah, well, when you've got three teenage boys, I suppose that IS the question isn't it?

I'm coping with it alright, but I don't want to go into detail here right now, for his sake.

Funny aside: just before we got "the phone call" Bill had just commented to me as we were leaving the restaurant after lunch, "I wonder what we're going to do for the next hour before we have to take M to basketball practice?" Don't ask what you're going to do to fill a blank hour, unless you want something to come along and fill it!! :-)

Been there. Teen boys, yep... sometimes what they get in trouble for isn't worthy of arresting but ends up that way anway and sometimes it is. Did they charge him to or only give him a warning? Did I ever tell you about the time where an adult accused E. of picking his nose at Starbucks and wiping it on a chair? E. who would NEVER pick his nose in public if he was going to pick his nose. Yep, that one led to being picked up by the police due to how E. handled himself after the accusation but he wasn't arrested in the end, just sent home with me.

Somehow you have to keep smiling despite the setbacks and hope that these mini-men will eventaully grow up.

(((Beth)))... so sorry. I am in the midst of pain with an older son. So I'm empathizing greatly.
